A Million Miles

I walked a million miles
Running landscapes
Flying through storms and clouds
Scrambling the world upside down
But who knew then and now?
The gesture is still waiting
Frozen in the pictures of any given moment
Is moving closer to catch the breeze
And land the wings that went so high
Breathing deeply the whispered words
To guide heart and mind into the smile

If life could fly beyond destiny... going a little further
Maybe not today, someday soon will be alright
